Who We Are
An initiative for the Ummah
Tuhur is an app and website that brings each mosque’s prayer times, events and announcements to the people who pray there.
Tuhur – Path to the Light is a non-profit project. Mosques use it to publish their adhan and jamaat times, events and daily reminders; worshippers use the app to find mosques near them, read the Quran and keep track of their daily amal.
Tuhur is a non-profit, non-political project of Lagbe Foundation. Lagbe Foundation’s registration with RJSC as a society is in progress. Since our founding in 2023, our sole motivation has been seeking the pleasure of Allah (SWT) by serving the Ummah through authentic, accessible technology.
We believe that technology, when built with sincerity and guided by Islamic principles, can become a powerful tool for strengthening faith, connecting communities, and preserving the beauty of our Deen for generations to come.
Our Mission
Make it easy for every mosque, including a small village mosque, to tell its people when the jamaat is and what is happening, and give every Muslim reliable Islamic content in their own language.
Our Vision
Every mosque, with the right times
We want every mosque in Bangladesh, from a city jame masjid to a small village mosque, to have its correct jamaat times in Tuhur, kept up to date by its own people, so nobody has to guess or ask around.
We build for the phones people actually use: simple screens, readable text and small downloads, with Bangla first.
Our Team
Serving Together
Tuhur is built by a small, dedicated team of developers and Islamic scholars working together to create technology that truly serves the Ummah. We believe in quality over quantity, authenticity over trends, and community-driven development over corporate interests.
Every feature we build is reviewed for both technical excellence and Islamic authenticity. Our scholars ensure that all educational content — from daily Hadith to Quran Ayat — comes from verified, authentic sources with proper references.
We are always looking for passionate individuals who share our vision. Whether you are a developer, designer, scholar, or simply someone who wants to contribute — we welcome you to join us on this journey.
